Drexel Karl Harding, Sr. passed away June 28, 1983.  He is survived by his wife, Patricia Freeman Harding; son, Drexel Harding, Jr.; and daughter, Kristina Harding.  He worked at Golden Gate Automotive and Southern Automotive.  On March 11, 2000, his wife, Patricia Freeman Harding Bryan, who was a Smith alumni, class of 1970, passed away after a long battle with breast cancer.  Their children, Drex harding, Jr. and Kristina Harding Jennings, still reside in Greensboro.
