Fred A. Schoenberger , 69, of Asheboro, died Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro.  

Fred was a native of Brunswick, Germany and a long time resident of Randolph County.  He was a veteran of the United States Army and was employed by Briles Oil Company as a truck driver.  Fred was a member of First Christian Church of Ramseur.  He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Hanna Villbrandt Schoenberger.  Survivors: wife, Norma Schoenberger of the home, daughters, Hanna S. Cagle of Asheboro; Rebecca S. Sullivan, and husband, Greg of Asheboro; sister, Marion Schoenberger of Greensboro; grandchildren, Haley Cagle, Morgan Cagle, and Chloe Sullivan.
